Ingredients:
- 4 large potatoes, peeled and thinly sliced
- 4 tbsp melted butter
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp dried thyme
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions:
- Preheat the Oven:
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Grease a muffin tin or use a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Prepare the Potatoes:
- In a large bowl, combine the thinly sliced potatoes with melted butter, minced garlic, dried thyme, salt, and black pepper.
- Toss the potatoes until they are evenly coated.
- Layer the Potato Stacks:
- Arrange the potato slices in stacks and place each stack in a muffin tin cup or directly on the baking sheet.
- Sprinkle a bit of Parmesan cheese and mozzarella cheese between the layers as you stack the potatoes.
- Top each stack with a generous amount of cheese.
- Bake the Potato Stacks:
- Bake in the preheated oven for 45-50 minutes, or until the potatoes are tender and the tops are golden brown and crispy.
- Garnish and Serve:
- Remove from the oven and let them cool for a few minutes.
- Carefully remove the potato stacks from the muffin tin or baking sheet.
- Garnish with chopped fresh parsley before serving.
