Easy Baked Ribs
Ingredients:
2 short ribs or St. Louis-style ribs
1 tablespoon smoked paprika
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon black pepper
1 teaspoon onion powder
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon ground mustard
1 cup barbecue sauce
Instructions:
Preheat oven to 275 degrees Fahrenheit. Line a baking sheet or baking dish with aluminum foil.
Remove the membrane from the back of the ribs. To loosen and tear off, simply slide your fingers along the side.Use a paper towel to ensure a better grip if it is slippery.
In a small bowl, stir together the dry rub ingredients, paprika, salt, pepper, onion powder, garlic powder and ground mustard. Rub this mixture generously over the outside of the ribs to coat them. Place the seasoned ribs in a single layer on a baking sheet or prepared roasting pan.
Cover the mold with aluminum foil.Cook in the preheated oven at 275 degrees for 3 1/2 to 4 hours, until ribs are tender.
Remove the ribs from the oven and remove the aluminum foil. Brush ribs with barbecue sauce.
Place the baking sheet or roasting pan back in the oven on the broil setting. Grill for 3-5 minutes until the barbecue sauce begins to bubble and caramelize.
